Harris v. Matrix Fin. Servs. Corp.

The court lacked diversity jurisdiction over a lawsuit alleging the defendants’ wrongful foreclosure of the plaintiff’s home. Both the plaintiff and defendant Samuel I. White, P.C., are citizens of Virginia. A cause of action may exist against this defendant, so joinder of that defendant is proper and not fraudulent under Squire v. Va. Housing Dev., 287 Va. 507 (2014.

Motion to remand granted.
